• CORONAVIRUS IN NIGERIA : How prepared is our medical sector? 
•   An Arabian proverb says "He who has health has hope; he who has hope has everything." This implies that our life depends on how much good health we have provided by the medical sector when the need arises. Some would affirm that the Nigerian medical sector is fully prepared for this pandemic palaver (Covid-19) right from the first outbreak of the virus in Lagos, but others would outrightly disagree. In my view, the Nigerian medical sector is fully prepared in fighting this virus, because they are the only sector that can guarantee the safety condition of the country against the virus. Plus, they have been able to provide some crucial information about this virus. This is evident in the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NDCD) giving out some guidelines on how individuals can help contain this virus e.g regular washing of hands, use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer, wearing of face masks, the practice of social distancing and many more. These guidelines were provided pending the final arrival of the formulation of the vaccine. These show to us that the Nigerian medical sector is prepared to fight this virus. Furthermore, the Nigerian medical sector has been ensuring that all hands are on the desk in mitigating this viral disease. This also implies that all the aspects in the medical sector are working closely and vigorously in providing a long-lasting vaccine against the virus. Ultimately, the Nigerian medical sector is fully prepared in mitigating this pandemic palaver. While all the medical sector - most especially the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) - is working indefatigably to ensure that the life of the people is saved from the virus by just adhering to the guidelines laid down.
